Dalemain World Marmalade Awards 2025

I did think about missing the awards this year due to my back pain but decided to have a go and got all my equipment out early January to start the process.

I live near Penrith in Cumbria so I always hand deliver my marmalade entries to Dalemain house in February.

After a few months nervous waiting with anticipation it was 26th April and time to find out the results. Most of the way there in the car I was telling my husband I wouldn’t win anything this year.

We queued to get into the house and while we were waiting I saw Paddington.

I was quite nervous waiting to go inside to get my envelope with the results in.

I entered the house and got my envelope and opened it to see I had got a silver, two bronze and two merits!!!!!

Once you have your envelope you can walk round the house and see all the thousands of entries from all over the world. They are all beautifully displayed.

It was a great day out and I will definitely be back next year!!!!
