As most of you will know I love Bakewell Tart and I made Bakewell Flapjack which has been very popular on my blog, so I thought why not a cookie. I wanted to make a cookie which was a bit special so I added icing, almonds and glacé cherries for decoration and decadence. You can just leave them plain if you like but I wanted them to look like Bakewells. The cookies are crispy round the edges and soft in the middle. They are a delicious treat and perfect with a cuppa.
