Pumpkin Spice

Last year I made a few recipes using a ready made pumpkin spice mix and several people asked if they could make it to I was determined this year to make my own version.

I found the one I bought to be a bit heavy on the cloves which I wasn't so keen on so I actually prefer the blend I have made. You can always add more of a spice that you like if you want to but I am really happy with this blend and have been baking more things with it this year.

There are quite a few recipes on my blog you can use this spice for.

Get all the spices ready and your measuring spoons.

In a small bowl add all the spices and mix.

Transfer the spice mix to a small airtight jar.

The spice mix will keep for up to a year in the jar.
